Dublin airport Restaurant

Following on from Marqette’s phenomenal success in 2017 in winning the prestigious Food Hall of the Year award, Marqette has now gone on to win a further award, winning Food Hall of the Year Worldwide 2018 for the second year in a row! These awards now confirm Marqette as the leading force in the airport food and beverage market worldwide today.

Since winning the award in 2017 Marqette continues its ethos of “Exceptional Food and Exceptional Service Every Day”. We are continuing to expand the brand and opened Marqette Café in Arrivals in Terminal 1 Dublin Airport in September 2017 and have just launched the hugely innovative Honest Eats concept here in Marqette Dublin. This concept, whereby customers can avail of a totally self-service option, is unique to anywhere else in the airport food and beverage market. We have also been invited to tender in several airports throughout the world and our aim is to launch the Marqette brand worldwide in 2018.

Marqette Food Hall is located at the heart of Terminal 1 in Dublin Airport. This busy and bustling terminal is the origin of flights throughout Europe, Scandanavia, Britain and increasingly longer-haul destinations including Canada and the Middle East. Marqette’s customer base is reflected in this. It serves fast paced commuter traffic, shortbreak holiday travellers, family groups and those making connecting flights.

As Marqette’s reputation grows, passengers from Terminal 2, only a short walk away, are making their way over to Marqette to discover and enjoy this unique dining and service experience.

Ireland’s reputation as a food island is richly deserved and it is only fitting that this is reflected in the airport. Providing freshly cooked food using the best of what Ireland has to offer is our mission and passion. I believe in cooking great food, simply.
Peter Brennan, Executive Head Chef, Marqette

Marqette sets a new standard for food service at Dublin Airport, offering customers and staff food to go, food on the slow and food on the fly which would allow people to take their food on board. We are sourcing the best quality produce from passionate local suppliers of North County Dublin and our menus reflect seasonal availability. We are delighted to be located within The Loop and we look forward to wowing passengers and staff with our naturally based food offering.
Michael Thornton, General Manager, Marqette

An exciting and innovative variety of delicious food is served daily in Marqette. This can be enjoyed in the 400 seater dining area or taken away if time is limited.

Every day an extensive and exciting range of food is freshly prepared on the premises. These include freshly baked artisan sandwiches and wraps, cakes and patisserie from the in-house bakery, traditional Irish breakfasts, vegetarian cooked breakfasts, soups, delicious salads, rotisserie roasted meats with accompanying fresh vegetables and freshly prepared hot dishes. Also on offer are freshly made omelettes, healthy stir fries and made to order crepes along with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.

Marqette has many unique features including its in-house artisan bakery. 1200 baked items are produced from scratch each day in Marqette’s Bakery by a team of specialist bakers, confectioners and pastry chefs.

Six types of bread are baked fresh on-site each day for Marqette’s
signature sandwiches. Fresh scones, croissants, Danish and French
pastries are produced all day long.

Another exciting and unique feature of Marqette is The Hatch – this vintage Citroen van is home to a cooked-to-order counter specialising in omelettes, crepes, pancakes and wok-based street foods which are cooked in minutes in front of the customer.

TheSpit Rotisserie

The Spit Rotisserie is an unexpected pleasure for those dining at Marqette. Freshly roast chicken is a true treat, especially when that chicken is a 100% Irish, corn fed chicken from a local farm.

HotFood Counter

From a tasty plate of Irish stew, a Moroccan tagine or a warm quiche, Marqette’s Hot Food Counter offers a diverse range of both local and ethnic dishes. Choices change daily and reflect seasonal events, cultural favourites and customer preferences.

All dishes are freshly prepared in Marqette’s kitchens and are served in a friendly and efficient way.

TheBreakfast Bar

Every morning customers can enjoy a freshly cooked traditional Irish breakfast, a cooked vegetarian breakfast, or choose from a range of other dishes including Eggs Benedict, omelettes, and pancakes. Lighter options are available too – fruit salads and compotes, fresh juice, cheese, granolas and Irish yogurts.

Marqette’s freshly cooked hot breakfasts are a definite favourite!

TheSalad Bar

Fresh and healthy and bursting with fruits, vegetables and grains, the Salad and Deli Counter at Marqette is a colourful self-serve area where customers can choose to fill their plates or take-away trays with a tasty array of freshly chopped and prepared salads, fruits, cooked meats, chicken, salmon, cheese, eggs or charcuterie.

Foodon the Fly

For visitors in a hurry Marqette has tailor-made Food on the Fly, a speciality range of foods to literally grab-and-go. These are pre-packed in signature Marqette packaging and include premium sandwiches, ciabattas and wraps, fruit pots, salad trays, juices and smoothies, and sweet treats. Marqette’s Coffee-To-Go is the very best there is.

In addition to the extensive pre-packed range of food, Marqette offers many self-service items such as desserts and pastries, salad boxes and cereal pots which customers are welcome to fill themselves and carry with them.

In fact all foods and beverages at Marqette are available to take-away at every counter, including the bar, please just ask.

The bar area offers comfortable and stylish surroundings in which to catch the news or the latest sports scores while enjoying a craft beer or a barista coffee. This counter also serves cold snacks and sandwiches, pastries and scones to complement the drinks. An artisan gin or whiskey, a glass of organic wine, a few bubbles or even a cocktail made by Marqette’s mixologists can be the perfect start to any trip.

Marqette offers barista quality coffee from selfservice barista machines in the main foodhall. Brew assistants are also on hand in this area. For customers who have a little more time, a personalised coffee from a trained barista at the Marqette Bar is a real treat.

Ate here recently - always good food - reasonably priced. We had mini breakfasts which probably was a bit overcooked. Nice cup of tea. Plenty of tables. Staff pleasant.

  • I had a very lovely Scottish man help me out this morning at the crack of dawn. I was struggling with my handbag, cabin bag and lack of coffee! He took my tray, walked around with me, got my breakfast/coffee and walked me to a table. Lovely staff and good bit of Irish fry up. To the man who helped me out this morning - enjoy your holiday to Australia later this year

  • Had a lovely experience in Marqette last week. I was traveling with my daughter and the staff could not have been more helpful, someone watched her for me while I went to get my food, and a lovely gentleman even carried my tray to the table for me. Food was beautiful. I would highly recommend it.
